Breanna is originally from Johnson City, NY, just outside of Binghamton. She moved to Rochester in 2011 to attend RIT as an undergraduate in the Biochemistry program. While at RIT she began riding through the schools equestrian club. A friend introduced her to foxhunting and eventing, and she's been hooked ever since.
Breanna is currently in the process of transferring to SUNY Geneseo to finish her BA in Biochemistry. In her free time, she enjoys foxhunting with GVH, participating in local horse trials and other events, and running.
Breanna has been working for Henderson Equine Clinic 2015 and is primarily Dr Henderson's assistant, regularly seen on farms with Dr Henderson, as well as helping out around the clinic.
In July, 1981 we purchased our first home. An 87 acre farm in the Genesee County, town of Pavilion. At that time, Hawks Road only had two dwellings on it and we felt it was a quiet country setting to settle in and raise a family. As children came and grew, we switched from ridding horses to draft horses and began to show up to a 4 Horse Hitch of Registered Percheron Mares. Then, as the children got older, graduated from high school and college, we began to loose all the help it required to keep good hitch horses in shape for a show season.
Not even being able to think about selling and getting out of these beautiful horses, Roger and I started doing weddings as a side business, which keeps us busy on most weekends. We also added on to our little farm and expanded to nearly 200 acres.
On April 1st, 2006, Roger retired from Kodak, and I retired from my business career on January 9, 2018 (sort of)! My love of horses and not being happy with retirement, brought me to Henderson Equine Clinic on October 22, 2018.
Rachel is a third generation equestrian. Her grandfather retired from the US Cavalry to be a cowboy and blacksmith. Her mother grew up on the back of a horse and now rides endurance. Rachel loves working with young, green horses. She is often found riding an OTTB or surrounded by Haflingers, her favorite two breeds. Rachel lives deep in the woods with her husband and two daughters.
Annalee came to the Genesee Valley for college, but grew up in the Hudson Valley and spent every free moment riding horses, working in barns, and competing in IEA. She has been riding since she was 7 and is an American Quarter Horse enthusiast who currently trains with her mare in multiple English and western disciplines. Aside from her main interest in horses, Annalee also enjoys hiking, kayaking, and running her professional photography business on the side.
Laura joined the Henderson Equine Family in June of 2019. She grew up in Dansville across the street from Trinity Stables. She took her first riding lesson when she was 7 and was instantly hooked on horses. She competed for several years through USPCA with 4 PenNy II where she found her love for eventing.
When she’s not at the clinic she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, gardening, and sharing her love for horses with her twin daughters; teaching them how to ride. Laura is over the moon about starting her career with Henderson Equine Clinic and is excited for what the future holds.
Annette lives in Avon with her husband and daughter. She graduated from GCC and is the newest member of the Henderson Equine family. When she is not busy at the front desk taking calls and scheduling appointments, she likes to go camping, hiking and kayaking.
